Chair of Governors

Susan is an active supporter of Holy Trinity and supported the school through its transition from an independent/private school to a Free School. Holding the post of Vice Chair of the PTA until recently, she was and still is a member of the school’s Free School Steering Group, now known as the Parents’ Steering Group and is a Holy Trinity parent. With a CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) qualification, Susan is an owner and the Finance Director of Minster Micro Computers which specialises in IT systems and ERP software, with particular focus on forensic accounting.

Mrs Pamela Leek-Wright

Headteacher

Mrs Pamela Leek-Wright is the Principal of Holy Trinity School and is an ex-officio member of the Board of Governors. She has extensive experience in both state and private schools, including two periods as a Deputy Head. She came as Deputy Head to Holy Trinity School in 2004 and was promoted to be the school’s Headteacher in 2011 and was key in helping to coordinate the school’s application and transition to become a Government Free School.

Brian is a Director at KPMG, with a particular focus on people related consulting issues. This varies from tax issues, to change management, to strategy development. Brian has detailed experience in running a business and is passionate about ensuring these skills are used more widely to help run the school.

Mr Paul Farr

Paul entered teaching in 1996 at Droitwich Spa High School and later Assistant Headteacher at St Augustine‘s Catholic High School in 2004, leading on to the last 7 years as Deputy Headteacher at South Bromsgrove High School. Paul’s current post involves being Vice Principal of a five school Catholic Multi-Academy Trust and has an MA in Management and Leadership in Education, NPQH and PQSI leading to recent qualification as an Additional Inspector.

Mr James McMahon

Governor

James is a Holy Trinity School parent and CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) qualified. His valuable skills encompass a range of industries including service, manufacturing, retail and contract catering, and he is experienced at assessing financial risk, taxation, overhead expenditure control and asset management. James holds the position of Finance Manager at Roxel (UK Rocket Motors) Ltd. which is an Anglo-French company that designs, develops, manufactures and markets solid propulsion systems and related equipment for air, sea and ground forces.

Dr Roy Peakman

Roy studied Chemistry at the University of Birmingham, achieving a PhD. He worked in industry as a Research and Development Chemist, initially for Pilkington Glass plc and then for Royal Ordnance plc in Kidderminster, where he specialised in adhesives, paints and thermal insulants. Roy achieved Health and Safety professional qualifications in 1998. Working as an H&S professional for Education at Warwickshire CC (1999) and then Solihull MBC (2001), Roy provided H&S advice, support and training to Head Teachers, Governors and Staff in Local Authority schools. Roy took early retirement at the end of 2015.

Katherine was a class-teacher at HTS before taking on her current role as teacher-librarian, a position that combines her teaching skills with her degree specialism in children’s literature. Katherine enjoys working collaboratively with parents and staff to enrich the experiences of our pupils; she is a member of the PTA and attends Parent Steering Group meetings. She believes Holy Trinity School offers a unique approach to education and is proud of its strong values.

A Holy Trinity parent for the past 13 years, Andy is an advocate of the school and keen to support staff and pupils to further develop and ensure Holy Trinity continues to prosper. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and for 20 years has specialised in corporate restructuring, working within the corporate banking sector, advising and supporting directors and reviewing financial and operational performance.

Mr Daniel Baughan

Mr Daniel Baughan

Governor

Daniel is a senior consultant for Board MIT and is responsible for running large business software implementation projects. He brings his IT and business skills to the board and currently sits on the Attainment Committee. Daniel lives in Kidderminster with his wife and daughter.

The Free School is run by its own Trust. Ours is called the Holy Trinity School Academy Trust. The Trust has a Board of Governors responsible for appointing and supervising the work of the Head Teacher, setting goals and objectives for attainment, agreeing the school’s strategic plan, and approving the school’s annual budget. The Board will include up to 10-11 members, including the Head Teacher and two elected parent governors.
