Harvest Festival Supports Age Concern

Students generously donated Harvest gifts to invited representatives from Age Concern Stourbridge & Halesowen as part of this year’s celebrations.

Donating a selection of food products, HTS Headteacher, Mrs Leek-Wright said: “The school has continued with their support of Age Concern in Stourbridge for many years and we are always happy to assist in any way we can. The service they provide to so many elderly people throughout the community is vital, and it is paramount they continue to do so.”

Children from the school brought in a collection of canned goods, tea, pasta, vegetables, biscuits and cakes, gathering together after the Harvest assembly with representatives from Age Concern Stourbridge, for a cup of tea and homemade cakes care of the school’s Parent Teacher’s Association.

Age Concern Stourbridge & Halesowen spokesperson commented: “Age Concern is very grateful for the school’s continued support. Donated Harvest produce that the children and their families have so generously donated will be distributed to people within our community who are in need.”
