This week, we were honoured to welcome Major Harris to speak to our Key Stage 3 students, as part of our Remembrance commemorations.
During a powerful and thought-provoking assembly, Major Harris shared stories about the importance of remembrance. He relected on the courage, sacrifice, and service of those who have given so much for our country. He encouraged students to think about how acts of remembrance help us understand the values of respect, gratitude, and community today.
Major Harris also spoke about his recent sponsored walk, which he undertook to raise funds for our school. His dedication and commitment to supporting our students are truly inspiring, and we are incredibly grateful for his efforts.
We would like to thank Major Harris for taking the time to visit and for setting such a wonderful example of service and perseverance.
