On Monday 2nd March, our Year 9 students took part in an exciting online Virtual Apprenticeship Assembly with the Royal Air Force (RAF).
During the session, students learned about the wide range of entry routes available after school, including apprenticeships and other career pathways within the RAF. The panel shared valuable insights into the many different roles on offer, from engineering and technology to logistics and intelligence, highlighting the skills, qualifications and personal qualities needed to succeed.
Students also discovered how RAF apprenticeships combine practical, hands-on training with nationally recognised qualifications, offering opportunities to earn while they learn.
The session concluded with an engaging question and answer segment, where students asked thoughtful questions and gained further advice directly from the RAF panel members. It was an informative and inspiring experience that provided our Year 9 cohort with a clearer understanding of future career possibilities.
